I scored some great clearance deals this week
Fred Meyer was a treasure trove with lots of clearance produce. I got 12 $1.00 bags yielding 4 lemons, a lime, 12 oranges, a pear, and 31 apples about 2/3 organic. There will be applesauce this week! I also got a clearance organic chicken for $8.31, clearance pita for $1.09, some asparagus, cucumbers, bell peppers, & tomato sauce for a recipe. I also found a $0.49 loaf of bread. I spent $28.15.
I had ten minutes to kill between errands so I dashed into a nearby QFC. I spent $8.26 on some flour (I've been out of conventional flour for months!), almond milk, and clearance peanuts.
I went to QFC for the good deal on Classico spaghetti sauce. It was only $1.00 if you bought 5, I also got lots of yogurt for $0.49 each, and big containers of yogurt for $2.19, sour cream for $2.29 I needed for a potluck, bananas, Doritos, a mango, granola bars, split pea soup mix and GF breakfast bars for $3.49. I spent $32.93.
Milk was $13.47
Week 11 Total: $82.81
Year to date total: $827.92
Weekly average 2015: $75.27
