Tuesday I dropped into Fred Meyer and pick up 2 boxes of Ritz crackers, a creamer, and some clearance donuts for $9.01. No photo.
Yesterday I had a big list for QFC. I bought 5 boxes of cereal, 2 gallons of organic milk, 2 creamers, 4 pounds of shredded cheese, 3 pounds of brick cheese, 8 pounds of sugar, 2 bags of Doritos, and 7 chocolate peppermint protein bars. I spent $45.45 on groceries.
Then I went to Safeway to use a $15 off a $25 coupon and hit the clearance jackpot. I bought imitation vanilla for $1.29, Pasta that worked out to $0.39 each after coupon, and a big pork roast for $1.69/lb. I found frozen dinners on clearance for $0.49 each, bacon for $2.74 each, round steak for just about $3.00/lb, nitrate-free beef franks for $3.49 in the 1 pound package, and a 24 oz package of marinated chicken thighs for $2.99. I spent $36.64 on groceries.
Finally I went to QFC again tonight. I spent $23.20 on 4 boxes of cereal, 2 creamers, 2 bags of chips, 5 oranges, 3 apples, 4 Greek yogurt cups, a $0.69 double pack of baby food and a clearance package of naan (a mama treat).
Week 49 Total: $114.20
Year-to-Date Groceries: $5,400.94
Weekly Average: $110.22
$114 is pretty good for a 'stocking-up' week. I got lots of cheese, meat for the freezer, 9 boxes of cereal, and all those frozen dinners for DH. A good week overall!

Nice answers in replace of the question with real point of view and explaining about that.
