We got back from Maui in the wee hours Friday and I made a dash to the store for milk and bananas and milk before breakfast. Today I did a much bigger trip, spending over $100 which I only manage about once a year. I think it's enough to get us through well over a week of meals so hopefully next weekend will just be a "bumper" trip for milk & fruit.
Breakfast will be our usual fruit with cereal or oatmeal and Lunches will be sandwiches, french toast, waffles, finger food, mac & cheese etc.
Dinners:
Saturday - Salad and Sausage soup
Sunday - Smoothies & Popcorn
Monday - Stew & salad
Tuesday - Biscuits & Sausage Gravy
Wednesday - Burgers/Fries/Salad
Thursday - Hawaiian Pork (freezer)
Friday - Potato Soup
Saturday - Sour Cream Chicken & salad
Sunday - Smoothies & Popcorn
Monday - Turkey Enchiladas (freezer)
Tuesday - Tuna Helper
OK, that gets us into next week at least. I also have to prepare freezer meals soon and will have to start planning for 13 days of camping this summer.
But I don't even want to think about that. I wan't to put the groceries away, clean my house, and maybe get to the sorely neglected garden today.
Maybe this week if I can get the garden sorted out I 'll finally have time to make the strawberry jam I've been avoiding.
